Meet the people dedicated to serving our community in Wisdom Church.

Pastor Jeff

Pastor Jeff began his walk with the Lord in 1982, the day his and Pastor Andrea’s first son was born. In the mid 1990s he led an employee buyout of a local foundry he and his father had worked at, successfully completing the purchase agreement while igniting a love for community in himself and his family. This opportunity allowed him to share what God had done on worldwide news and in constant reporting throughout the Mahoning and Shenango Valley, expanding his influence in the business world. He continued to pursue growing closer to the Jesus, practicing Biblical principles in His business, using it as an opportunity to share Jesus with everyone and anyone in the market place. In 2014 he graduated from Wisdom University with a degree in biblical wisdom. Shortly after, he felt the Lord call him and his wife, Andrea, to shepherd and start a church. Wisdom Center Church was founded in 2015 and seeks to be the church of Acts with a focus on preaching the Word, intimate worship, authentic relationships and healthy families ultimately to get involved with and change our local communities.

Pastor Andrea

Pastor Andrea began attending church with a friend in 1982 and had given her heart to the Lord before the birth of her and Pastor Jeff’s first son. She began growing deeper in her relationship with the Lord as they started and expanded their family. She poured her heart into raising her children and helping out in their local church, building relationships and nurturing those around her. After their third child, she pursued a career in the medical field while also caring for her parents and demonstrating the unconditional love of God to her friends and family. Pastor Andrea received an associate’s degree from Wisdom University in 2015 the same year she and Pastor Jeff launched Wisdom Center Church Youngstown. Her kind and nurturing nature has led her to serve in the children’s ministry, launch and grow a women’s ministry and labor in the prayer/intercession ministry of the church. She is constantly serving her community, family and church family with a true servant’s heart and unconditional love.

Neo Khamphoumy

After having a radical encounter with Jesus and converting from Buddhism to Christianity at the age of 19, Neo started sharing his newfound love of the Lord to family, friends and anyone he met both in his home country of Laos and in his new mission field of America. He allowed God to work through him with prayer, worship and demonstrations of the power of God wherever the gospel was preached. He continues to have a heart for evangelism and worship, as well as working with youth to understand their God given goals and purpose for their future.

Dana Khamphoumy

Dana grew up in the church and accepted Jesus into her heart at the young age of 4. She attended Christian school and several youth groups throughout her teenage years, but found a renewed hunger for God in her late teens. After a trip to Israel, she found herself in a position to start worshipping in an effort to bring the body of Christ together on Sunday nights. After her parents started Wisdom Center Youngstown, she continued to lead worship and lead others into the presence of God. She has a heart for her community and missions worldwide and works with the youth ministry and behind the scenes.

Ralph Barney

Ralph Barney has brought a rich wealth of knowledge and experience as an elder in Wisdom Church. He has been apart of mighty moves of God in this area and has been a pastor and shepherd in the body of Christ. He currently works int he marketplace as a chaplain and continues to labor with his wife Ellie in hopes of birthing another powerful move of God in the Mahoning Valley.

Ellie Barney

Ellie Barney is a vital part and the oversight for our prayer ministry at Wisdom Church. Her sweet and gentle spirit leads people into the presence of God whenever she teaches or flows in the gifts of the Spirit. Her powerful testimony and prayers are a testament to the office of intercessor. Both her and her husband Ralph strive to connect and build relationships with the body of Christ to grow in unity.

Steve DeVito

Steve DeVito is an elder and head of evangelism/outreach at Wisdom Church. His charismatic personality and overflowing joy aids him as he makes friends wherever he goes and shares Jesus to anyone and everyone. He has served in youth ministry, evangelism and outreach in the body of Christ for over 3 decades and seen the power of God move in a mighty way. Steve is always willing to offer prayer and be a willing vessel for God to move inside and outside the church.
